Trafficking of aborted foetuses, finally online videos Kamala Harris cached

The mainstream media still hasn’t reported the news, but for the past two weeks five videos have been posted online demonstrating the collection and trade of aborted baby's tissues and organs. Notably, the videos in question, secretly filmed by the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) between April 2014 and April 2015 as part of a journalistic investigation that lasted a total of nearly 30 months, are freely available. For eight to nine years, Planned Parenthood, the multinational abortion company, had managed to block their dissemination, with the complicity of the then California Attorney General, Kamala Harris, and of judges who were concerned with having to prosecute heavily - both civilly and criminally - the authors of the videos, rather than the perpetrators of the wrongdoings emerging from those same footage.

On 19 March this year, however, a US Congressional committee held an independent hearing to "investigate the black market in baby organ harvesting". On that occasion, David Daleiden, founder of CMP, presented some of the most significant videos from the investigation that he and Sandra Merritt, also a pro-life activist, produced. In May, the go-ahead finally came from the San Francisco District Court, which ruled that it no longer had "a legal basis" to prevent Daleiden from republishing the videos subpoenaed and already released by Congress. And on 30 July, Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene released the full versions of the videos that were the focus of the March hearing. But precisely two weeks later, it can be said that the media representing the dominant thought - ready in other circumstances to denounce shocking scandals - do not consider the videos important enough to inform their audiences.

Nonetheless, the content is unquestionably of public interest. We limit ourselves in particular to two conversations filmed in April 2015 at the National Abortion Federation (NAF) exhibition, when CMP reporters posed as wholesalers serving research laboratories. Talking to the two fake wholesalers were two executives of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast: Dr Ann Schutt-Aine and Tram Nguyen, vice-president of the abortion access branch of that huge clinic based in Houston (Texas), where, before Dobbs v. Jackson, a large number of abortions up to six months of pregnancy were performed. And aborted baby parts were sold for 'experiments'.

In the first of these two conversations (19 April 2015), which followed earlier meetings, the undercover reporter points out that "liver is in short supply". At that point, Dr Schutt-Aine intervenes, saying that since she had heard from Nguyen months earlier about the interests of the new wholesalers, she takes special care whenever she performs a "D&E" procedure (i.e. an abortion involving dilation of the cervix and subsequent evacuation of the foetus), exulting at retrieving intact lungs or kidneys. Tram Nguyen then apologises for showing a particularly dismembered foetus during a previous visit by CMP reporters, explaining that it was an abortion done in haste, "whereas other days [the foetus] it’s more intact, where it’s like maybe only like an arm that’s disarticulated". The whole thing is discussed as if they are chatting over a cup of tea in a café, between the macabre and the amused, with Nguyen observing at one point that "if other people were to hear me" uttering phrases like "yeah, I have like a leg for you!" they would end up saying to her: "You are f***ing evil". Certainly, what emerges from the videos is the total dehumanisation of the child in the womb, which is treated as or worse than an object to be used for any purpose.

In a second conversation, another undercover member of the CMP asks the two Planned Parenthood executives how they obtain aborted foetuses that are more intact and therefore more usable for organ harvesting. The issue here concerns the circumvention of federal regulations banning partial-birth abortion. Circumvention that goes hand in hand with the mutilation of the bodies of babies who are still alive. In the video, Dr Schutt-Aine explains that if she realises she is close to the umbilicus, "I might ask for a second set of forceps to hold the body at the cervix and pull off a leg or two, so it’s not PBA [partial birth-abortion]". As the CMP itself points out, "delivering a fetus alive past the navel, with intent to take any action after that will kill the fetus, is a violation of the federal partial-birth abortion law (18 U.S.C. 1531)". The same abortion doctor, when asked by her interlocutor, replies that she has no experience with digoxin, a substance sometimes used by abortion facilities to poison the foetus before its removal from the womb, so as not to violate the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act. But which has the 'downside', for those engaged in this vile trade, of preventing the harvesting of stem cells from the same baby killed with digoxin.

In late June 2015, thus a few weeks after these conversations, the CMP - in the guise of Biomax Procurement Services, a fictitious biomedical research company - had sent an email to Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast proposing a secret contract that involved the consideration of $750 per foetal liver and $1,600 for liver and thymus from the same foetus. While at Planned Parenthood steps were taken to follow up on the same contract. "Planned Parenthood repeatedly told Congress, the courts, and the public that it had ‘rebuffed’ any opportunity to sell aborted baby body parts in Texas. This finally-released undercover footage shows that, in reality, Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast was ghoulishly eager to rip healthy babies out of vulnerable patients whole and alive, and mutilate their bodies after to sell body parts for top dollar", says Daleiden, who then turns to the responsibilities of Kamala Harris.

Two weeks after a meeting in March 2016 with top Planned Parenthood California executives, the office headed by Harris had conducted a raid on Daleiden's home to seize all material relating to the undercover videos. A raid that was in addition to NAF's 2015 appeal, which had obtained a federal injunction against the release of those videos.
Now, at least five of those films can be watched on the Internet. But the liberal media do not want to talk about it.
