In accordance with article 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 regarding the protection of personal data, we wish to inform you that visits and consultation of our site do not involve the collection and processing of users personal data.
Registration of our newsletter website http://newdailycompass.com and donations are optional, as is the provision of personal data by users (via e-mail messages, subscription to the newsletter, donations and phone calls / events, etc.).
The collection and processing of the aforementioned data is aimed at the correct management and operation of the "newsletter" and "donations" services. We use your e-mail address and the personal data you provide to send updates and communications, to send news related to the topics of the Daily Compass, for invitations to participate in our fundraising campaigns, to communicate in advance our editorial or organisational initiatives, to manage donations and for individual specific purposes for which users freely and voluntarily provide their data, as well as for legal purposes and obligations.
The processing involves keeping a paper and electronic record. The data is stored for a time not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which it was carried out and, in any case, according to the criteria dictated by civil law on the matter of prescription and in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness and transparency by adopting all adequate technical and organisational measures necessary to prevent injuries to users' rights and freedoms.
Your data is communicated to third parties (eg suppliers), as Data Processors, appointed by the Data Controller. The list of these third parties is available at the offices of the Data Controller. The recipients of your personal data have been adequately instructed in order to process your personal data and ensure the same level of security offered by the Data Controller.
In no case will your personal data be disclosed or provided to third parties for commercial purposes, while they may instead be processed by professionals or independent collaborators, which our site uses, for journalistic, editorial purposes or connected to the activities of the Daily Compass or for legal obligations.
With regard to the newsletter and the management of correspondence, the Data Controller is Omni Die srl, based in Monza, Via Bosisio, 2.
With regard to donations, the Data Controller is Associazione Nuova Bussola, based in Monza (MB) in via Ugolini, 11.
We remind you that, as required from article 15 onwards of EU Regulation 2016/679, as an interested party, you have the right, at any time and by contacting the holders of the aforementioned processing: to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of personal data concerning you, to know its content and origin, to verify its accuracy, request its integration, updating, rectification, deletion, blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and oppose the processing of data for legitimate reasons. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Privacy Authority.
