Behaving like a neighbour
But the man was anxious to justify himself and said to Jesus, ‘And who is my neighbour?’ (Luke 10, 29)
Body and soul
Fear him rather who can destroy both body and soul in hell (Matthew 10, 28)
Start to feel anxious
And if anyone does not welcome you or listen to what you have to say, as you walk out of the house or town shake the dust from your feet. (Matthew10, 14)
Do you behave like a follower of Christ?
And as you go, proclaim that the kingdom of heaven is close at hand (Matthew 10 7)
An infinite pity
So ask the Lord of the harvest to send labourers to his harvest.! ( Matthew 9, 38)
Trust in the Lord
Courage, my daughter, your faith has restored you to health (Matthew 9, 22)
The final goal
Rejoice rather that your names are written in heaven (Lc 10, 20)
Be renewed
No one puts a piece of unshrunken cloth on to an old cloak, because the patch pulls away from the cloak and the tear gets worse (Matthew 9, 16)
The disease of pride
I did not come to call the virtuous, but sinners. (Matthew 9,13)
Joy or indifference
Seeing their faith, Jesus said to the paralytic, ‘Courage, my child, your sins are forgiven.’ (Matthew 9,2)
How much do you like the pope?
"But you," he said "who do you say I am?" Then Simon Peter spoke up, "You are the Christ," he said "the Son of the living God." (Matthew 16, 15-16)
The calm in the tempest
And he said to them, "Why are you so frightened, you men of little faith?". And with that he stood up and rebuked the winds and the sea; and all was calm again (Matthew 8, 26)
