Will everything work out for the best?
The man who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 5, 19)
Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Do not imagine that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets. I have come not to abolish but to complete them. I tell you solemnly, till heaven and earth disappear, not one dot, not one little stroke, shall disappear from the Law until its purpose is achieved. Therefore, the man who infringes even one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be considered the least in the kingdom of heaven; but the man who keeps them and teaches them will be considered great in the kingdom of heaven.’ (Matthew 5, 17-19)
Through His Law, God taught and transmitted His will to the Jewish people and, through His Son Jesus, to all peoples. Whoever observes the commandments with all their heart teaches others the will of God, the only One to give serenity to men and women of all times. On the other hand, those who disobey and convince the world with their abundant words that everything will work out for the best, put themselves in God’s place. They want to decide for themselves what is good and what is evil. In fact, after death at the moment of judgment, they will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Which side do you want to be on?
