All are waiting for Jesus
Go into all the world (Mark 16: 15)
Jesus said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” (Mark 16: 15-18)
Jesus' sending his apostles out on mission makes Christianity fundamentally a missionary faith, while teaching and paying witness to a life consistent with the Gospel. The very word "Mass" means "sent." At the end of each Mass, in fact, we are sent on a mission to others. Thus, any true Christian cannot do without the Mass or the mission to which he is called to love his brothers and sisters and other people. Let us remember that, in order to be credible witnesses, we must first be convinced that the whole world is waiting, perhaps without knowing it, to hear the Word of Jesus and to be baptised so as to discover their path to Salvation.
