The wisdom of those who trust in Jesus
‘I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth' (Matthew 11, 25)
Jesus exclaimed, ‘I bless you, Father, Lord of heaven and of earth, for hiding these things from the learned and the clever and revealing them to mere children. Yes, Father, for that is what it pleased you to do. Everything has been entrusted to me by my Father; and no one knows the Son except the Father, just as no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.’ (Matthew 11,25-27)
Contrary to what the world thinks, it is not the wise and intelligent who have understood what life is really about. Instead, it is those who trust in God as a child trusts its parents, those who are open to receiving the gift of Christ’s mystery. In fact, this is the only way to be introduced to the knowledge of the Father and the Son and therefore to the intimate life of God. Jesus clearly declares He is the Son of God and only those who humble themselves in front of this announcement can truly understand Christ's message. Do you really want to know God profoundly? This is the joy of eternity which we can experience already in this life. Are you ready to throw yourself confidently in to God's arms?
