The true faith
They were saying, “He is out of his mind. (Mark 3: 21)
Then Jesus went home, and the crowd gathered again, so that they could not even eat. And when his family heard it, they went out to seize him, for they were saying, “He is out of his mind.” (Mark 3: 20-21)
Some of Jesus' relatives, who may have known Him since childhood, think He is crazy because He does not conform to their ideas. This is more or less the case with the inhabitants of Nazareth who, in order not to be challenged by His preaching, reject Jesus a priori as the humble "son of Joseph." Hence, let us ask God to spare us from the prejudices that often invariably impede our eternal salvation. Let us rely on the Word of God and the Church's perennial teaching to remain steadfast in the true faith.
